“The Medication Assistance modules provide the skills, knowledge and competency to assist and / or support clients with medication administration. It consists of seven interactive case studies detailing the correct process and techniques for assisting with the administration of all forms of medication. The modules also identify the correct procedures to use in the event of medication errors, how to recognise signs of deterioration and how to complete documentation in line with current legislation and Quality Standards.” A practical assessment sheet is available for completion with assistance form Line Managers/Registered Nurses.
