This resource is designed for people working in aged care who require easy and rapid access to the latest peer-reviewed information on issues in aged care. All information comes from PubMed, the large biomedical database made available by the United States National Library of Medicine. If you want to do a more specific or tailored search visit the CareSearch QuickSearch page.
Some Tips for Getting Started:
- Simply click on the topics you want to include in your search.
- If you want to add a new topic to the search add it to the 'keyword' box. For best results, combine the basic search with just one additional topic.
- It is possible some search combinations will produce zero or few results. This can mean not much has been published on that topic or that the new search term entered isn't recognised. Try running the search again using similar terms that you are aware of but may not use in your community e.g. you might say 'family meetings' but another term would be 'case conferences'.
- If your search term has two words then use quotation marks to keep them together, e.g.'family meetings'.
