A self-directed learning resource designed to help you familiarise yourself with practical dental care and to recognise common oral health conditions experienced by older people. The course page provides access to separate course modules for nurses and care workers according to care setting:

Authors
This course is an online conversion of the Better Oral Health in Home Care learning and teaching package produced by the Building Better Oral Health Communities Project (2012-2014). The project was led by SA Dental and funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services under the Encouraging Better Practice in Aged Care (EBPAC) Initiative. Modules are hosted by the South Australian Department of Health and provided through SA Dental.
Comments
The development of the online course in 2021 includes minor updates on products and other oral healthcare information.
